Beach

Turquoise waters lay still ,across the horizon.
The Golden sands of the beach shone in the sun
As yet another holiday is fades away
But something in my mind sways.

The twilight gave the waters some colour
A rainbow of joy lights up in my heart
The wind picks up its pace
Waves came crashing into the beach

My thoughts bursts like the frothy waves
Shells on these shore crackle under my feet
Memories come calling suddenly
Cracking a bell in my mind

The days of a child running around the beach
Those funny words for the waves to breach
All the sand castles and games on sand
Childhood in beach was always sunny and bright.

Grow up I did, And the beach did with me too
The moon filled it with its silver rays
Under those skies lay a few friends
Jokes popped like corn on fire

Nights never drew to close
When all those songs filled the air
And then she walked into my shores
I was not alone anymore, counting waves

Romance filled the breeze,
Starts looked down as we kissed
Thought we would never part
Like the shore and the seas

But when we did, It rained in the seas
Drenched was the shore and me
But life never stooped like the waves
Across these seven seas it goes on

The wind was gushing in my ears
Its time ! The sun is setting afar
But the waves kept kissing the shores
Reciting a new story everyday

As I walk back to my life
The starry sky shone down on me !!
